September Town Hall Recap
Sunday’s Town Hall was a meaningful time for our church family to gather, celebrate, and hear more about what God is doing at Bethel. We packed Desert View, with about 150 of us coming together to reflect on this season, engage in open dialogue, and hear from our Elders. Thank you to everyone who attended and submitted such thoughtful questions
Highlights Include
- Video from Phil — he shared what most excites him about Bethel. Watch here.
- West Pasco Land Sale — we previewed next steps; stay tuned for more details.
- Elder Retreat Highlights — reflections from recent time together, using our Bethel values to shape conversations around membership and other cultural topics.
- Budget Update — thanks to your generosity, we finished last fiscal year’s budget in a healthy place. In August—the first month of our fiscal year—both giving and spending were on target.
- Capital Reserve — updates on completed projects, upcoming priorities, and how we’re stewarding resources for the future.
- Next Gen — progress on discipleship milestones and the Youth Director search.
- New Guests, Connection Cards, & Try Five — we celebrated connection steps: 87 people have engaged with Try Five since it started, and over the past year, we’ve welcomed 675 self-identified guests (kids through adults).
- Outreach — an update on our approach to growing outreach that remains faithful to our calling and multiplies through empowered leaders.
- Adam’s Message — encouragement to walk as disciples of Jesus in our current cultural moment.
- Closing in Prayer — we circled up and prayed together as one church family.
Save The Date
Our next Town Hall will be on Sunday, January 25 at 5 p.m. in Desert View. We’d love for you to join us for another time of updates, conversation, and prayer.
