Who Is God Putting on Your Heart?
We all have people in our everyday lives who may be searching for connection, purpose, or hope. Neighbors, coworkers, friends, or family members. Many people are more open to a personal invitation than we might assume. Sometimes they’re simply waiting for someone to ask.
Take a moment to prayerfully consider:
-
Who in your life might benefit from community right now?
-
Who could use encouragement or support?
-
Who might be open to taking a step toward faith?
A simple invitation can make an eternal difference.
How to Extend an Invitation
Inviting someone doesn’t need to feel complicated or pressured. The most meaningful invitations are sincere, relational, and natural.
You might say something like:
“Our church has been meaningful to me. I’d love for you to come with me sometime.”
“Would you want to join me at church this Sunday? We could sit together.”
“My church is a place where I’ve found community. You’re always welcome to come.”
You don’t need the perfect words. A genuine invitation, offered with care, can speak volumes.
Why Your Invitation Matters
Behind every invitation is an opportunity for transformation. When we invite someone, we’re not just filling a seat… we’re creating space for them to encounter Jesus, experience belonging, and discover new life in Him.
Throughout Scripture, we see the power of simple invitations:
“Come and see,” said Philip. — John 1:46
One invitation can lead to life change. And together, we get to participate in what God is already doing in the lives of people around us.
As we look ahead to Easter, many people in our community are especially open to attending church. This season offers a unique opportunity to reach out, extend a warm invitation, and save a seat for someone who might be searching for hope.
