Supporting AIM In The Fight For Freedom
It was the perfect morning for running, jogging, or walking along the Columbia River. We’re celebrating an incredible turnout and impact from this year’s Run for Rescue! With 225 participants, the event was more than just a race—it was a morning filled with fellowship, fun, and purpose.

The Race
It was great to see all generations show up for this race. Many families brought their kids of all ages to ride scooters, catch a ride in a stroller, or run next to their parents. Adults of all ages participated, some taking it easy and walking a mile while others pushed themselves for the 5K, eagerly tracking their time on smartwatches.
After crossing the finish line, many stayed to enjoy Spudnuts and the steel drum band’s music. It was a fun moment of community.

The Impact
Even more exciting than the great community was the impact: over $5,000 was raised to support the work of AIM (Agape International Missions)—an organization dedicated to fighting human trafficking and restoring freedom in the name of Jesus. You can find out more of what AIM does to restore victims of sex trafficking and see why we have been supporting them through Run For Rescue for over a decade by visiting their website.

God's Mission
This event reminded us that God is at work globally, and that even small steps—like putting on running shoes—can contribute to His mission. It was powerful to see our church body unite around a cause that brings light into dark places and freedom to those in bondage.
Thank you to everyone who ran, walked, served, gave, and cheered. Your participation is part of a bigger story God is writing through AIM and through us.
