TRI-CITIES CHAPLAINCY

Serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, Tri-Cities Chaplaincy is the recognized source for expert guidance during a crisis, at and through life’s end, and following a loss.

“The team from Tri-Cities Chaplaincy focuses on the entire person – their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Supporting residents in Richland, Kennewick, Pasco and surrounding areas of Benton and Franklin Counties, we guide, comfort and care for those experiencing serious illness, crisis, loss and grief.” – tccbestlife.org

OUR PARTNERSHIP

Though we aren’t sure when our partnership first started, we do know for sure we’ve been supporting them since 2010. Through giving at Bethel we support them financially, with Amazon “wish lists” donations, and with many volunteers. They have provided excellent care to Bethel families in need throughout the years. This agency started from a grassroots effort of some local church volunteers – ordinary folks who saw a need and decided to help in extraordinary ways.  Without God, we can do nothing.

GET CONNECTED WITH BETHEL’S LOCAL OUTREACH

Join us on Sunday, October 13th for our locally-focused service, then visit with local ministries and agencies who are serving our community. Unfortunately, Tri-Cities Chaplaincy will not be joining us this year, so read on to see what they’re all about and how you can support them.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

PRAY

BE THE LIGHT
Pray Tri-Cities Chaplaincy will continue to be a light in places of hardship, as families in our community navigate the loss of loved ones. May people find hope and healing through the care they and their loved ones receive.

FINANCIAL PROVISION
Pray for increased funding from their donor base, and for favor with grants and other funding avenues. This allows programs like their classes and grief groups to remain free for the public.

LAURIE JACKSON & TEAM
Pray for Laurie Jackson, Chief Executive Officer and her team as they work together to meet needs in our community. May their staff remain united and steadfast in their mission and find good “work-life” balance as they deal with the complexities of death and dying.

give

Gifts given to further the ministries of the
church are often one overlooked form of
worship. You can choose to give regularly
through Bethel, or directly on their
website.

We often support Tri-Cities Chaplaincy with ‘wish list’ donations, and with volunteers.

In December, the Bethel Giving Tree will focus on CORK’S PLACE, a grief center for local children. Grab a tag off the tree and support this Tri-Cities Chaplaincy grief center.

FIND YOUR PLACE AT LOCALFEST

JOIN US ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13TH FOR OUR LOCALLY-FOCUSED SERVICE, THEN VISIT WITH LOCAL MINISTRIES AND AGENCIES WHO ARE SERVING OUR COMMUNITY.

At our 3rd annual LocalFest, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of our local partners and see how you can use your unique skills and passions to share Jesus, as we serve together on mission at Bethel and in our community.

This year, we want to focus on helping you determine the gifts God has blessed you with. Whether it be Craftsmanship, Hospitality, Faith, or others: there is a place for you! If you already know your gifts – awesome! If this is the first time you’ve heard of spiritual gifts, please take the short quiz and bring your results with you to LocalFest. Find the test here

Even kids can participate in LocalFest! Besides finding a place to serve with their family, kids can participate in LocalFest by joining the Cereal Drive. All donations will go to families in need through the Tri Cities Food Bank!
