Elder Newsletter – September 2024
Every month, the Elders send out a prayer prompt with something they would like us to consider.
This month, Bethel Elder Scott Godwin encourages us to spend time in prayer for those around us who are hurting. While you’re praying for these individuals, be challenged to consider your current level of involvement. We are called to be Christ’s ambassadors, and every crisis is an opportunity to share Christ.
In October, you’re invited to join the Bethel Elders for a Town Hall style family meeting. Gather with other people invested in the life of Bethel, and hear key updates about our direction for the upcoming year.Â
Submit questions in advance and register for childcare here.Â

FIND YOUR PLACE AT LOCALFEST
Join us on Sunday, October 13th for our locally-focused service, then visit with local ministries and agencies who are serving our community.
At our 3rd annual LocalFest, you’ll have the opportunity to meet some of our local partners and see how you can use your unique skills and passions to share Jesus, as we serve together on mission at Bethel and in our community.
This year, we want to focus on helping you determine the gifts God has blessed you with. Whether it be Craftsmanship, Hospitality, Faith, or others: there is a place for you! If you already know your gifts – awesome! If this is the first time you’ve heard of spiritual gifts, please take the short quiz and bring your results with you to LocalFest. Find the test here.Â
Even kids can participate in LocalFest! Besides finding a place to serve with their family, kids can participate in LocalFest by joining the Cereal Drive. All donations will go to families in need through the Tri Cities Food Bank!
